For G

Hi Folks,

I probably saw more blood than I had ever done before in my whole
life yesterday. A colleague his friend and driver were involved in a
ghastly car accident at 3am yesterday. This guy was due to fly out
for a family reunion in Rwanda on Friday.

As I meditate on these things Jesus'; advice to not store up treasure
here on earth hits home harder. Remember the story of the rich fool?

On whom do you put your trust? The bible warns "...woe is he who puts
his trust in man... Whose breadth is in his nostrils...!"; You may
look successful, cars, cash, women and connections. You may even own a
gold mine...hey this doesn't guarantee
1. That you will see tomorrow.
2. Peace (personal, corporate)
3. A place in heaven (eternal security).

As we exit 2007 I pray 1 thing for you... That you may know the Risen
Christ, and become a true son/daughter of God. John 1:12.

Receive the Prince of peace, Jesus the reason for this season.

Tired

Aren't they some days when you just feel tired? Today is one of those days
for me. I 'travelled' for a friend's wedding over the weekend. Travelling to
Bamenda at this time of the year is not the easiest of things to do (Wrong
choice No 1). I was at the bus park at a little after 9pm and only got to
Bamenda at 07 am. Needless to say, all efforts by me to try and catch some
sleep were useless. I couldn't even sleep in the morning as I had to go gift
hunting! All day long, was up and about till 4pm when I donned my dress and
hit the celebration hall. It was a nice party..and I neither ate nor drank
too much (right choice no 1). The food was good and my table mates..a
professor and some guy who was visibly very proud of his son, who'd just
return from Germany were good company. We were placed directly opposite the
bride and groom so I had lots of opportunities to look at them ; -).

Travelled back on Sunday morning but decided to watch a movie at 09pm
(terribly wrong choice)...Slept at 01:30am( the worse of all choices)..Got
up this morning at 05:30 am (healthy choice...but not at this moment...yawn
yawn!!!!)...man am I tired!

Baby Lin and D are doing good. Praise the Lord.
