15 - God's good.

Yes, today Linda and I celebrate 15 years of marriage. 

Today, we celebrate God's special grace and faithfulness as we learn how to walk and work with each other and God in His love. So far, it has been an exciting journey and we are hopeful for the future. Very hopeful.  As we celebrate, we also remember some special people who travelled with us to Bamenda for that special occassion but are no longer physically present. In the month of May this year, my brother, Derick, sadly passed on to eternity after a very brief bout with illness. The loss is great and the pain still real but we know He is in a better place because he committed his life to Jesus. Adieu Derick! Your memory is with is until we meet again.

We also lost a dear friend, Bongo in December 2019. Her accident and untimely death left a huge gap in our lives also. We miss you Bongo. You were special to us in many ways.

While their going into eternity has left us in pain, we are reminded of the good times we spent together including that Sunday morning on September 25, 2005 in Bamenda. Thank you Derick and Bongo. Always in our hearts.

We looked pretty young I am surprised they trusted us 😂😂😂.

15 years of thank yous to all of you who showed up, prayed for us and supported us. Thank you Chi Chi for being the camera man I hired on zero budget to use my camera and do your own thing. I still have the videos you shot back then Man! Thank you to our two families for always being there for us and to the friends who came from all parts of the country to make this day special. Thank you to pastors Jeremie and Song who made the occasion special. A special thanks to all the kids who are fine teenagers today.

God's been good and the journey has been good. We keep learning, loving and growing. We also look more mature today. 

On this special day we want to use this special crystal celebration to draw attention to the one who has been our everything our God and Savior. Jesus,  what could we have done without you? Absolutely nothing.  You are still the rock on which we stand, our everything. May our sweet Jesus bless and keep you too. May cause His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you.  May He give you peace and bring you into a special relationship with Him.
