Hater?

Are you a Hater?

It is toxic to be a hater!
Not like I haven't exeperienced it - no!
It can be soothing in it's own way...but wait let's put it in true perspective.

Why do you hate?
Generally the motivation is in the diversity of the human species.
But who made you superior?
I look at children (and photos of children) from different races
social backgrounds and religious persuations...
Same needs, same innocence, same desire to be loved, same will to
learn, same playfulness..
Same same God given passion for life and ability to call on the
strength of a mother or father.

So why do you hate, if we're in essence all the same?
Possessions? Ridiculous. The value of a man has never been in how much
'they got!'
Connections? No greater heart-breaker than counting on humans! They
can't even help themselves.
Ability? Really? That's just plain dumb!

There's absolute no reason for anyone to be a hater. It is toxic and
twists your view of self, others, God and purpose.

God so loved..

Replae your hating with love. There's no better way to deal with haters.

Love

I just did it...

Sometimes it's just plain difficult to get it done right?
Well I felt that way this AM.
I had prayed and considered it for a while.
I even went to the extreme to know if it indeed was God's will and timing.

The direction I was receiving pointed to me doing it.
I looked for a good opportunity, but didn't think I any was good enough-
The situation was't encouraging, so I just did it!

It's good to let go, for when we die, then we live.
Let's see what god has to say!

What a day!

school etc

Deron and Ariel's first day of school this year!
It is Ariel's very first time to school...man he acted mature!
A couple of days now and the boy 'don't wanna' let his mum come back..eventhough he enthusiastically dresses up for school everyday.

Deron's more focused - I guess big -brother syndromme is submitting him to correct comportment.

Join me to thank Jesus for their continuous protection...

Someone tell 'em!

Somethin's happening...

A slow destruction of the masses
1 report - health ministry AFP - says 372 have died another 350 -BusinessWeek -
Bloomberg reports still - A cholera outbreak in northern Cameroon has
killed 387 people while the Chinese Xinhua put's the number at 356!

There's a pandermic happenning in our nation!

Generally Government reports less than the actual. Given the localion,
availability of health structures, logistics and religious beliefs of
the majority in this region, many cases will go unreported and some
will be burried before any official count is made.

Someone tell 'em..a generation, a people stand extinction, what can I do?

Google Cameroon on the net and it will become clear to you where OUR
priorities lie!

God save the North, God save Cameroon.

Adversity

Adversity is a thing no one likes to think about. The month of August
brought some of the greatest adversities we have known as a family so
far. These moments tested my staying power and faith like never
before. As we draw closer to the light at the end of the tunnel, I
have just this one statement to make, "I am a better man!"
Even though some will have us believe otherwise, God never promised
that when we become Christians (see how) all problems will disappear!
Growth is the natural result of being victorious in adversity.
Adversity can be compared to the training process during which an
athlete submits herself through a period of diciplined grueling
maneuvers in preparation for a competition.
Let's take a look at James 1:12 "blessed is the man who remains
steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive
the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him".
Interpretation:
- Some will fail in the school of trials
- There are blessings (1Pet 5v10: Confirmed, strengthened and
established) for staying strong and true in trials
- God knows you're going through trials (His grace will sustain you,
if you lean on it).

There's no fun in adversity but you can be sure the results will
benefit you, if you choose to see it through God's eyes. Commit
whatever you're going through right now, in His Hands and sincerely
count on Him. Remember He is the ULTIMATE TRUTH.

Even more Grace

Thankful

How much do you really appreciate that which you have? Family,
friends, job, education etc? When did you last appreciate a parent,
brother/sister, colleague for just being your Friend? It's easier to
complain than appreciate. The world is full of complainers...experts
in finding fault. My sons & wife had a bout of chicken pox recently (
I had even forgotten the thing existed)! I had a tough time and
wondered why such a disease (or any) even existed. At the end of the
day, it taught me 1 major lesson ie to appreciate Mama, who was almost
always there when I was either helpless or at the edge of making a
major blunder in life!

You may have established yourself as:

1- A tough boss, with high standards.
2 - A difficult to please husband/wife.
3 - A 1 man jury of any idea or initiative.

Take time out to be thankful this season. Send someone a note or make
that overdue call.

Let us be thankful because all we have was received!

In conclusion, let's be thankful to God for Jesus.

Of love..

I write this with a heavy spirit, after looking at the gruesome pictures of toddlers butchered in Nigeria in the name of religion!

Is God still love?

When everything seems to be going fine, most people don't even want to talk about God. When trajedy hits however, then turn we, most often to blame the creator for having taken a break! Why on earth will a man senselessly butcher a toddler in the name of religion? Gods plan for man, was, is and will never be for destruction!

Jer 29:11  "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

We are all unique and were CREATED by God, out of love for a specific purpose, the same way engineers design equipment for specific purposes. Adam sinned by disobeying God's dictate from the very beginning charting an unfortunate path for his descendants.

Many choose not to retain God in their knowledge.

Romans 1: 28  And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; ...
Unless we turn back to God and become new creations ( "therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.." 2 Corintinas 5:17), we won't understand or be able to express true love.

God is still love.

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:6-8)

Whoever does not love does not know God , because God is love. (1 John 4:8).

The authors of carnage, lies, immorality, destructions and deceipt definitely, do not know God for God is love. It all starts when one chooses not to retain God in their knowledge.Jesus alone can and will change you, if you answer His call even right now.
